I was searching for the best pancakes in San Francisco and Reddit told me Millbrae pancake house had them! We were two and we had only the veggie omelette with potato and buttermilk pancakes. The omelette was HUGE and tasty, the potatoes were the best of the plate but I don’t think the pancakes are the best, they’re just normal. The attention was really kind and the place is really cute. Thank you!
Great little family owned diner. This is one of those places I bring visitors to the Bay area to impress them. The chicken fried steak, corn beef hash, and of course, the pancakes are especially good. Everything here is good, really. The only drawback is the long wait, but it's worth it.
Very efficient! Better to be there by 10:00am on weekends to avoid waiting time. The service was really fast. Portions are generous. Good options for vegetarians too.. very good place for family breakfast/brunch.
Godly delicious pancakes!! The Swedish pancakes are so fricking good served with Lingonberry and butter. All dishes are so well made here. If my cousin had a choice, she would choose to come here everyday for breakfast as there’s a broad variety of pancakes.
Always a good time at my favorite breakfast spot. Had to get a hot chocolate because it was cold outside when my boo and I were waiting for our turn. Heads up: Make sure to come early on weekends because it’s always packed and busy (Sundays in particular because a lot of families leave morning mass at St. Dunstan Church and head here after). The food is always so so good and the service is great too. Make sure to bring your appetite!
The best place on earth but beware it's always busy and the wait time is typically up to an hour on weekends the parking lot is also very small. But overall it is food heaven!!! Highly recommended to all!!!!!
Absolutely amazing Swedish pancakes. I was happy that this place does not smell like syrup but does smell like coffee. Good prices and filling portions. Great homemade style corned hash....best I have had and I order it for breakfast regularly. I would highly recommend this restaurant but they did recently change their hours and menu to all breakfast, just FYI.
Must try place in Bay Area. They have wide variety of continental dishes and makes a perfect place for your breakfast. Taste good and well mannered staffs. I am sure you would love this place. They have parking spaces, that makes your life easier if you are driving in !
Solid breakfast spot if you find yourself hungry while driving through Millbrae. Pancakes are great, but it varies on the day of the week sometimes. Flavors are great though. Doesn't seem like there's designated servers, so you get helped by whoever is available. The front is like a little toy store which is really cute. Wait on the weekends can be long, but only like 30 minutes
This place always makes breakfast feel special. Despite a typical 20-minute wait for a table for two on Sunday mornings, which isn't too bad, the food is consistently excellent, and the service is very friendly. A true local gem.
